Description

2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli. Latrobe Council with support from various defence, RSL, religious and community organisations will be hosting the Latrobe Citizens Commemorative Service to commemorate this centenary.

The Service will feature a march to the Cenotaph, welcome, songs, scripture readings, ANZAC Day Addresses, laying of wreaths, playing of "The Last Post", a minute of silence and conclude with the playing of the Australian and New Zealand national anthems.

* Wreath laying is only offered at the 9:45am Citizens Commemorative Service. To be included in the wreath laying schedule, register with Latrobe Council by Tuesday 21 April 2015.

Road closures apply for both the Dawn Service and Citizens Commemorative Service at Latrobe.
