Centenary of ANZAC Grants Program

The Centenary of ANZAC Grants Program reflects the Tasmanian Government's commitment to supporting the Centenary of ANZAC and recognising Tasmanians who served in the Great War 1914-18. It also recognises the contribution and sacrifice made by individuals who, in the time since the Great War, have undertaken operational service as members of the Australian Defence Force.

The Grants Program has a total funding pool of $50 000 available to projects that commemorate the Centenary of ANZAC in Tasmania.

Grants up to $5 000 will be made available to eligible organisations through a competitive application process.

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • celebrate the end of World War One;
  • the ongoing impact the war had after 1918; or
  • promoting peace.

Applications for projects, events and activities that commemorate Australia’s/Tasmania’s involvement in significant events that occurred throughout 1918 or in international conflicts since the end of World War One will also be considered as a secondary priority.
