Lone Pine Tree at Penguin

My Grandfather Hedley Deverell 2020 26th battalion 1AIF was selected to plant a seedling of the original Lone Pine at the Penguin Cemetery, in Tasmania, which overlooks the Bass Strait. The seedling was planted in 1967.

Hedley Deverell was born in Rianna, Tasmania, and served in World War One.
